Kenyatta University has in-campus accommodation facilities for all undergraduate international students. However, there are no in-campus accommodation facilities for graduate and post graduate students. There are however, privately owned off-campus accommodation facilities available for post graduate students with early arrangements.
All students pay a defined medical fee. This covers the student on treatment in the KU Health Unit. However, students are encouraged to pick up an insurance cover to cater for major medical emergencies.
Student Support System:
The Centre has a robust “buddy system” where the international student is paired with a Kenyan student who acts as a guide for the international student as they settle in Kenya.
Airport Transfer Services:
Airport transfer transport services are availed on request and on early communication.
These include: Various athletic activities such as Soccer, Volley Ball, Hockey, well equipped Gym, Swimming pool, camping, rugby, and track activities. There are also religious, academic or cultural based clubs.
There are various religious centers withing the university. These includes a Mosque, SDA chapel, Catholic church and a Protestant Church.
Our programme’s overall aim is to nurture and produce holistic graduates who will influence others positively. Our motto is “A problem shared is half solved.”
Other Student Oriented Services:
There are verious programmes ran in the university that focus of students developemnt as a whole some of these programmes are: mentorship, guidance and councelling.
